What public transport options are around Weave on Baker?
There are three MTR stations close by. You can use either Ho Man Tin, Hung Hom or Whampoa MTR station to get to anywhere around the city. There’s plenty of minibuses around and also the Hung Hom ferry takes you to North Point on HK Island in 10 minutes!
Where can I get food?
You won’t go hungry around Weave on Baker. From Jollibee and McDonalds to local wonton noodles and Cha Chaan Teng there’s plenty of variety around, besides Whampoa, which is a short stroll away has a wide array of food options.
Are there any banks in the area?
Major banks and ATMs like HSBC, Hang Seng, Standard Chartered and Bank of China are all in the area.
Where can I buy home goods?
Major supermarkets like Wellcome, PARKnSHOP are all represented. There’s also Japan Home Centre for your living needs, as well as Watsons nearby. If you need IKEA it’s just a 15 minutes MTR ride away and there’s a big Aeon supermarket that carries a variety of homewares in Whampoa.
Where can I work out?
Besides our in-house gym you can check out the Hutchison Park, Boundary Street Sports Centre for something outdoors. Otherwise Fighting Arts Club, AIR Fitness, PURE and Fitness First are nearby.
What are the popular spots around?
We’re conveniently located 5 minutes walk away from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, 10 minutes from Hong Kong Coliseum and Whampoa and 15 minutes from the Hung Hom Promenade. K11 Musea and Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui – a shoppers paradise, is a minibus or short taxi ride away.
