About the Role:

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the region and ensuring the efficient management of financial resources. This pivotal role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and strategic thinking. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting. 
  • Develop and monitor financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and board members, providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. 
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management, implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and create financial models for business planning and forecasting. 
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements. 
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to support funding and investment activities. 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA certification preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a finance/ managerial position. 
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with a track record of financial management and reporting. 
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a strategic mindset and a commitment to driving results and continuous improvement.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated team player to join our Japan Team to initially set up the leasing framework for Japan and upon property openings, oversee the leasing platform in Japan. As Leasing Manager, you will play an integral part in shaping the product and service delivery of Weave Living’s portfolio in Japan. This role will be based in our Tokyo office, with support from our Hong Kong headquarters.

Responsibilities:
  • Initially set up the traditional brokerage and property management structures with brokers and agents to capture the local and traditional customers 
  • At the same time, working closing with the Marketing to initially set up the leasing framework for Japan including the digital customer journey from lead generation to converting into a resident for our value-add strategy to ultimately disrupt the traditional brokerage and property management structures 
  • Monitor revenue budgets for our properties and implement strategies to ensure occupancy and pricing are achieved in accordance with annual budget 
  • Devise pricing strategy and procedures including renewal and occupancy management across our portfolio of properties 
  • Be an expert on the Weave product offering in Japan and be able to tailor our value proposition to relevant target audience 
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to conduct market research, feedbacks and data analysis for market trends, resident analytics etc 
  • Conduct property viewings and convert leads into residents 
  • Drive B2B and corporate leads by leveraging off your network 
  • Over time, lead and manage the Japan Leasing Team including recruitment, role and responsibilities assignment, training and motivating leasing team, drive the team to reach revenue budgets 
Requirements:
  • At least 7+ years' experience in leasing rental accommodation in Japan 
  • Relevant working experience in multi-family / serviced apartment / hotel industry is an advantage 
  • Possess the relevant leasing agency licences 
  • Responsible, self-motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work independently 
  • Proven leadership and training abilities 
  • Ability to connect well with people; warm and approachable 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with tenants and team members 
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure to manage multiple tasks and prioritise for completion 
  • Strong in contractual sense, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skill including ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions 

Preference: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, real estate, business administration or related disciplines 
  • Native or fluent Japanese speaker with good working knowledge of English to a reasonable level of proficiency

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Marketing Manager who is passionate about all things marketing, digital marketing, and content creation. 

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing all marketing activities for Weave Living Japan, including formulating local marketing plans and implementing digital marketing, PR, content creation, and social media activities.
  • Periodically follow up with analytic reports after marketing program implementation for continued improvements and future campaign development.
  • Work with external creative, PR and media agencies to ensure all local marketing content and activities are consistent with overall brand directions and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Community to ensure brand consistency, superior customer experience across all consumer touchpoints, and to meet key business targets
  • Work closely with the HQ marketing team to:
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for our entry into the Japanese market, with a focus on understanding Japan's business strategies, consumer insights and preferences, as well as media and competitive landscape.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for ensuring the creative and production of all marketing collaterals, creative assets, or consumer events are aligned with corporate direction and brand identity.
  • Work with an external PR agency to prepare press releases, support the handling of media requests and inquiries, and to create, and organize press activities such as hosting media visits or press conferences.
  • Ensure all bilingual marketing content, property information and pricing details are updated timely and accurately on www.weave-living.com, press room and relevant publications and platforms.
  • Plan and execute year-round marketing initiatives and campaigns in Japan, and proactively share any marketing best practices between key markets across Asia Pacific.


Requirements:
  • Marketing professional with a bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • With at least 5 years of solid marketing (or agency) experience in Japan, exposure to real estate or hospitality industries would be a definite advantage.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, clear results orientation, and strong problem solving skills to achieve business targets.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing and website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Business proficiency level of Japanese and English
