About the Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated team player to join our Investment Team to support our investment program in South Korea, working closely with the GM - Korea, and Group Director - Investments.

As Director – Investments, you will take a senior leadership role in constructing Weave Living’s portfolio in South Korea. This role will be based in our Seoul office.

  • Manage and support the full acquisition cycle, including sourcing, structuring, underwriting, due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and execution of multifamily residential, serviced apartments and conversion opportunities in South Korea’s main cities, and other regional cities over time.
  • Work with the Group Corporate Finance, Group Investments and International Expansion teams to identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities in South Korea for Weave Living to expand its footprint through portfolio privatisations / acquisitions and operator acquisitions.
  • Be the local point person for asset-level and fund-level capital raising to grow AUM.
  • Conduct market and investment research and maintain strong market knowledge by developing sound relationships with developers, asset owners, research houses, brokers and other market participants like investors, fund managers and AMCs
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with banks and other lenders to build financing channels.
  • Supervise the preparation of project investment memorandum and investor reporting / post-completion asset management.
  • At least 10-12 years of experience in real estate investment, investment banking, brokerage, or asset management in South Korea.
  • Exposure to multi-family asset class would be an advantage.
  • Strong personal network in the Real Estate industry from local brokers, developers and landlords.
  • Ability to lead deal teams of lawyers, consultants, banks etc to achieve successful deal-closing outcomes.
  • Solid financial modelling and analysis experience, combined with the ability to take investment calls and build investment conviction.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and work under pressure.

About the Role:

We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, and self-motivated team player to join our Team in Seoul, Korea to help drive and implement our leasing strategy for our properties under the Weave Living umbrella. Reporting to the General Manager, this person will be responsible for expanding our client base (individuals and corporate) for our properties and managing our customers’ journey from lead to move-in to retention.

  • Drive our market’s overall leasing and pre-leasing initiatives especially for new properties in collaboration with the Marketing and Community teams
  • Develop leasing strategy for new properties with monthly goal setting for leasing activity and demand generation
  • Implement any pre-leasing or leasing initiatives especially for new properties in collaboration with our Marketing and Community teams
  • Convert resident applications (B2C) from lead through to move-in as well as managing expiries and renewals
  • Conduct property viewings for potential residents by eloquently showcasing our unique Weave experience and USP
  • Identify new target corporate clients (B2B) and actively generate new leads as well as managing existing corporate relationships across our portfolio of properties
  • Be an expert on the Weave product offering, be able to tailor our value proposition to specific individuals and corporate client’s specific needs as well as to handle queries on the phone, in person and via email from potential residents
  • Prepare sales related reports for Management
  • Monitor and analyse competition to identify selling strategies and emerging trends
  • Participate in the development of the marketing plan and collaborate to achieve budgets, and work closely with the Marketing team to conduct market research and data analysis for market trend and resident analytics
  • At least 6-8 years of professional working experience in sales and / or leasing setting, and with existing network of corporate contacts
  • Relevant working experience in hospitality / serviced apartment / rental accommodation / co-working / co-living industry would be an advantage
  • Responsible, self-motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work independently
  • Good working attitude with strong problem solving, communication and inter-personal skills for handling queries
  • Strong negotiation skills and presentation skills
  • Extensive network with relevant HR/administration teams in corporates as well as relocation agents
  • Strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills with a flair for influencing others
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, SAP CRM, Salesforce, or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Some flexibility in working hours required (particularly for property viewings) and may involve hours outside of normal working hours

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly-motivated and energetic Marketing Manager who is passionate about all things marketing, digital marketing, and content creation.

This role will report directly to the General Manager – Korea, with a dotted line functional reporting to the HQ marketing team based in Hong Kong.

  • Responsible for overseeing all marketing activities for Weave Living Korea, including formulating local marketing plans and implementing digital marketing, PR, content creation, and social media activities.
  • Periodically follow up with analytic reports after marketing program implementation for continued improvements and future campaign development.
  • Work with external creative, PR and media agencies to ensure all local marketing content and activities are consistent with overall brand directions and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Community to ensure brand consistency, superior customer experience across all consumer touchpoints, and to meet key business targets.

Work closely with HQ marketing team to:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for our entry into the Korean market, with a focus on understanding Korea's business strategies, consumer insights and preferences, as well as media and competitive landscape.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for ensuring the creative and production of all marketing collaterals, creative assets, or consumer events are aligned with corporate direction and brand identity.
  • Work with an external PR agency to prepare press releases, support the handling of media requests and inquiries, and to create, and organize press activities such as hosting media visits or press conferences.
  • Ensure all bilingual marketing content, property information and pricing details are updated timely and accurately on www.weave-living.com, press room and relevant publications and platforms.
  • Plan and execute year-round marketing initiatives and campaigns in Korea, and proactively share any marketing best practices between key markets across Asia Pacific.
  • Support any other ad-hoc duties as stipulated by the General Manager – Korea and HQ marketing team.

  • Marketing professional with a bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • With at least five years of solid marketing (or agency) experience in Korea, exposure to real estate or hospitality industries would be a definite advantage
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, clear results orientation, and strong problem-solving skills to achieve business targets.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing and website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Native level Korean; fluent level in English
  • Familiarity with OTA platforms in Korea
