According to HKSAR Government policy, starting 12 August 2022, people arriving in Hong Kong from Taiwan or other overseas territories need to spend only THREE nights in a quarantine hotel instead of seven. And after three nights at a quarantine hotel and negative testing, you are welcome to move into a Weave Living property for four days’ medical surveillance.

All our homes are equipped with openable windows, so you can enjoy fresh air whenever you like.

A special emergency cross-departmental action team has been established and specific procedures and protocols are in place to handle any confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any of our properties. In the event of such a case being confirmed, all residents within the affected property will be notified immediately. Reputable specialist vendors are on standby, so we are confident all shared spaces within an affected property would be thoroughly disinfected and returned to safe use within 24 to 48 hours. We are working closely with the HKSAR Government’s Department of Health and will inform residents and team members of any new arrangements or additional requirements.  

To the best of our knowledge, Weave Living continues to comply with all the latest mandates from the HKSAR Government. We will continue to monitor the situation and seek advice on any new government mandates. And we remain fully committed to implementing all measures designed to safeguard the health and well-being of our residents and staff members.  

Under relevant HKSAR Government regulations, Weave Living properties are exempt from Vaccine Pass requirements because our accommodation is provided exclusively on the basis of a minimum period of 28 continuous days. As such, we have no plans at this stage to introduce the Vaccine Pass for residents or visitors, unless mandated by any new directives.    

Each resident is allowed no more than four visitors at any one time, until further notice. All non-residents visiting a Weave property MUST stop at an entry point to scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” app, have their temperature measured and sanitise hands. Any visitor refusing to comply will be denied entry, without exception.

Residents’ access to shared spaces remains the same, unless otherwise specified, but they need to follow precautionary measures, such as:

  • Wear a surgical mask – residents are advised to wear a surgical mask at all times in shared spaces including elevators and corridors. We are happy to provide masks, if required.
  • Restrict gatherings to a maximum of EIGHT people – we will disperse a group if deemed necessary. Please co-operate with our team for the sake of everyone’s safety.
  • Gym use – residents are advised to a wear face mask and maintain social distancing.


In line with the latest measures and guidelines introduced by the HKSAR Government, Weave Living has implemented social distancing and other precautionary measures throughout all our properties. These measures include wearing of masks in all shared spaces, restricting group gatherings to align with HKSAR Government directives, three-hourly sanitisation of all surfaces in shared spaces, disinfection of all parcels and provision of additional air purifiers.

Studios and Suites

  • Residents and visitors under 18 years of age are required to obtain prior approval from Weave Management.
All our properties have a non-smoking policy, but you can smoke outside the premises.

You're more than welcome to bring family and friends to your home – just be sure to accompany them in shared spaces and remember they are bound by our House Rules. A visitor’s host resident is responsible for any misconduct by his or her visitor(s) during their stay, including disciplinary actions or fines that are considered appropriate by Weave Management.

Studios

  • Visitors NOT SIGNED OUT by 10:00pm or SIGNING IN after 10:00pm are considered overnight visitors. Each unit can have only one overnight visitor per day, and up to 6 overnight visitors per month on a complimentary basis. Each unit can register up to 10 overnight visitors in the same month; however, a fee of HKD250 per visitor per night applies to each overnight visitor – number 7 to 10 – and payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date.

Residences and Suites

  • There is no policy for overnight visitors, but they must be signed in by the resident in person at the Security Desk.
To redeem your benefits, simply show them your Weave App (resident profile or QR code), or insert the promo code on the partner’s website when you check out. Please refer to the Weave App for details of the redemption method.
If your smart device battery is dead, contact Security. After verifying your identity, they will open your door so you can be reunited with your charger.

After verifying your identity, Security will open your door as a temporary solution. Residences

For safety and security reasons, deliveries without such information will not be allowed entry and the Community Team will not be held responsible.

For any issue – plumbing, internet, windows, or others – report it on the Weave App and maintenance will be arranged. There’s even room on the app to describe the issue in detail and upload a photo or video to help us understand the situation better. For urgent matters such as a leaking faucet or electrical outage, approach Security on the ground floor of your property for immediate assistance.
The Studio Queen and the Studio Queen Plus are nearly identical, but the plus as a windowsill with cushioned seating.

The Studio Single has an en-suite bathroom, while the Studio Single Plus has a private bathroom next to the unit, which results in a more spacious unit.

Both units have an en-suite bathroom. The Studio Single has a single bed, while the Studio Single Plus has a double bed, which means more sleeping space and more storage space under the hydraulic bed. The unit size of the Studio Single Plus is slightly larger, as well.

Yes, but you will have to make way for the cleaner or it won’t be a thorough clean. If you have a specific time that you want us to avoid, please let the Community Team know in advance via the Weave App or the email listed below.

Weave Studios sends recyclable items to Recycle Cycle for processing, while Weave Suites and Weave Residences send such items to 121C Society for Recycling.

Starting with Weave Studios – Olympic and Weave Studios – Kai Tak, residents can hand unwanted glass items to Hong Kong Glass Reborn Limited. We will rollout this initiative over time throughout all Weave Living’s properties in Hong Kong.

Paper, plastic, metal and glass are generally accepted for recycling in Hong Kong. Your Community Team – reachable via the Weave App or email addresses below – will direct you to the recycling bins on request.

The projector cannot be used after midnight because quiet hours begin at 10pm. Someone on the Community Team can help you set it up the projector from 11am to 8pm, though.

Yes, and it is drinkable.

We provide most of the electrical appliances already, including stove, oven, toaster, ice machine, microwave, refrigerator, and filtered water. For personal appliances such as a kettle, blender, and rice cooker, we recommend keeping them in your unit for security reasons. Storage of personal items in any shared space, including the kitchen area, is prohibited, and they may be discarded without prior notice.

Although everyone has a slightly different schedule, normal busy hours are 7–9am, 11am–1pm, and 5–7pm.
The times vary, but you can avoid waiting by checking the machine status on your Weave App.
Our detergent has a disinfectant but no fragrance. It is automatically loaded when the washing cycle begins.
We hope you like it – it’s our exclusive Weave scent with a touch of white tea fragrance.

Additional housekeeping is HK$125–300 depending on the unit type. Cleaning is the same as your regular housekeeping, except that shared bathrooms in the Studio Quad/Studio Trio/Studio Twin are also included. Housekeeping service includes taking out your trash, wiping your desk, sweeping the floor, and cleaning the bathroom.

  • Cleaners will not touch your bedding or belongings, so please be sure they are not in the way of cleaning.

  • Dishwashing is not included. Linen change will be arranged fortnightly on housekeeping day and will only apply to the standard linen set provided in our Suites.

If you have an in-unit washer/dryer, it is naturally free of charge, although detergent and fabric softener are at your own cost. Washers and dryers in the shared laundry rooms are HK$20 and HK$25, respectively, for each session – which is a total of HK$45.

The gym is free of charge and open 24/7 so you can stay fit and healthy!

All shared spaces, except for meeting rooms at selected properties, are for everyone to share on a first-come, first-served basis. Living at Weave gives you access to the shared spaces at your property. These may vary with the property but can include a well-equipped gym, a kitchen, a spacious living room, a laundry room, a rooftop or terrace, and more.

Daytime Visitors

As of 28 February 2022, everyone in our onsite teams and at corporate level had received their first dose of vaccine, with more than 90% having had two or more doses thereafter.

Staff will wear face masks at the properties. Please note a face mask does not mean the wearer is sick. Any staff member exhibiting COVID-like symptoms will be asked to stay home. Face masks are a precaution to safeguard our staff and the community.

Events requiring physical attendance can be arranged, providing appropriate preventive measures are in place and observed. Among others, these include requiring all attendees to wear face masks, no sharing of cutlery and maintaining a safe physical distance from others wherever possible. Residents will continue to receive news of events via the Weave App.

If there is a compelling reason you must leave early, we would take into consideration the severity of your situation and any documentation in support of the need for you to leave early and review the early termination penalty on a case-by-case basis.

If a License Fee must be determined for a partial month, it will be determined by the monthly Licence Fee divided by the number of days in that particular month, and then that daily figure multiplied by the number of days the unit was occupied.

Before moving in, you need to pay one month’s license fee, plus a security deposit equal to one month’s license fee. The security deposit will be returned to you if no loss or damage is found in the unit upon your departure.

A property change is possible. If you moved in, but not into your desired property, we will put you on a waitlist. When the desired property becomes available and it’s your turn on the waitlist, we will contact you to arrange a property change and a new Licence Agreement. Please note that there is a fee of HK$1,500 for each change for the extra manpower and administration required. We will also charge for one overlapping day for both units to allow the change – this is one day in total.

A unit change or upgrade is possible. If you moved in, but not into your desired unit type, we will put you on a waitlist. When a unit becomes available and it’s your turn on the waitlist, we will contact you to arrange a unit change and a new Licence Agreement. Please note that there is a Unit Change fee of HK$1,500 for each unit change for the extra manpower and administration required. We will also charge for one overlapping day for both unit to allow the unit change – this is one day in total.

Before you move in, you will pay a security deposit of one month’s licence fee, plus the first month’s licence fee. After that, your monthly licence fee is due on the 1st of each subsequent month.

To confirm your booking, we require a security deposit and the first month’s licence fee: The security deposit is equal to your first month’s licence fee, which will be returned to you if no loss or damage is found in the unit upon your departure. The monthly licence fee is all-inclusive and includes the management fee, government rates, electricity, gas, water, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, gym, regular housekeeping, and the use of all shared spaces.

If you wish to cancel your stay before arrival, we will refund the first month’s paid licence fee, but your security deposit will be retained by us. We understand travel plans may change unexpectedly because of the COVID-19 situation, so we have established a cancellation policy by which we will refund your security deposit and the first month’s paid licence fee without penalty – IF you can provide proof that you were unable to journey to Hong Kong because of a COVID-19 policy change beyond your control.

“License Fee” for a License Agreement means the same thing as “Rental Fee” for a Tenancy Agreement. It is paid on the 1st of each month for the use of your unit and access to shared spaces and the front door of the Weave property you are in. Because you’re not signing a Tenancy Agreement, there is no stamp duty or agent’s fee.

Weave Residences – Mid-Levels is pet-friendly, allowing a cat or dog of 15kg or less. Our other properties currently don’t allow pets of any kind, including fish.
Yes, you can pay your Licence Fee by credit card and enjoy all those credit card rewards.

You will then have to settle the payment of first month’s licence fee and a security deposit (equal to the first month’s licence fee) to secure a unit.

If your License Agreement needs to be stamped, you can bring the signed original copy of your License Agreement to the Inland Revenue Department (Wan Chai) and request an Adjudication Stamp for HK$50. A signed original copy of your License Agreement can be provided upon request from our Sales Team.
You will sign a Licence Agreement, not a Tenancy Agreement, so no stamp duty is required.

Sachin Doshi is founder and CEO of Weave Living and a “global citizen”, having lived in Australia and Hong Kong , as well as his native India .

He holds more than 18 years’ experience in Asia Pacific’s real estate industry, after playing senior investing and investment banking leadership roles for international institutions the stature of APG, Merrill Lynch and Citi.

In 2016, he was named in the Urban Land Institute’s “40 Under 40” list, which singles out the brightest and best young land-use professionals worldwide. If you wish to cancel your stay before arrival, we will refund the first month’s paid licence fee, but your security deposit will be retained by us. We understand travel plans may change unexpectedly because of the COVID-19 situation, so we have established a cancellation policy by which we will refund your security deposit and the first month’s paid licence fee without penalty – IF you can provide proof that you were unable to journey to Hong Kong because of a COVID-19 policy change beyond your control.

A full-sized, in-room kitchen is a feature of all apartments at Weave Residences – Mid-Levels. Each comes equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, and wine cooler. Our One Bedroom Luxe Suite and Junior Luxe Suite at Weave Suites – Central West features a mini kitchenette with microwave, stove, and wine cooler.
Our Weave Residences accept a cat or dog. These furnished apartments are fully self-contained, offer exceptional privacy, and are roomy enough for a newborn or a furry friend. Please note that only one dog or one cat weighing 15kg or less is allowed in each pet-friendly residence. Any exception is subject to Weave Management approval before it can be brought onto the premises.

We periodically update residents on whether anyone is undergoing compulsory home quarantine at their property, but personal details will not be disclosed.

If an existing resident is required to undergo compulsory home quarantine, we will comply with requirements from the HKSAR Government’s Department of Health.   • Four visitors only – each resident is allowed no more than four visitors at any one time, until further notice.
  • Visitor procedures – at entry points, all visitors MUST scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” app, have their temperature measured and sanitise hands. Any visitor refusing to comply will be denied entry, without exception.
  • Guests Visitors MUST follow all our COVID-19 measures – all visitors MUST adhere to the precautions outlined above when using shared spaces.

We see co-living as people coming together in our inspiring spaces where they can thrive in an urban environment. To us, it means better utilization of space – residents share facilities that they only use infrequently, such as a kitchen, laundry room, and gym, while being able to enjoy complete privacy in their own lockable unit where they can relax and unwind. We do our best to provide everything someone starting their career or living away from home could want, including social life, shared spaces, and regular events.

All onsite Weave staff, including our Maintenance and Housekeeping teams, wear face masks. Please note a face mask does not mean the wearer is sick. Any staff member exhibiting COVID-like symptoms will be asked to stay home. Face masks are a precaution to safeguard our staff and the community.

For dining, we supply plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks, and mugs. For food preparation and cooking, you’ll find pots, pans, spatulas, knives, forks, spoons, cooking chopsticks, and can openers. We also provide basic seasonings, such as oil, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. We don’t provide less-common items, such as colanders and graters, but kind-hearted residents often buy things they use and leave them for others to share.

Because we cater for a variety of residents staying for different lengths of time, our House Rules don’t allow existing fixtures and fittings to be interfered with in order to protect successive residents’ positive experience at Weave Living. Glue, scotch tape, gum-paper, nails, spikes, tacks, or any other item placed on or driven into any wall or floor or any fixture, fitting, or furniture in any part of the building is strictly prohibited. One thought is to set a framed photo or painting on a desk or shelf and have it lean against a wall, or display it in a free-standing photo frame.

Our in-unit furniture is all custom-built to make use of every inch of your room, so you may not need any additional furniture. But of course, you may want something of your own. Due to limited storage space, we’re not able to store any unwanted furniture on-site, but you may visit the Benefits section of our Weave App for off-property offerings such as storage and delivery services.

Before you move in, our Projects Team and Housekeeping Team will go through an inspection of your unit and perform a deep clean. However, it’s possible that some minor defects (hairline cracks in the paint, for example) may be found during your move-in. Our Community Team will note any defects, plus you’ll have 48 hours to report any defects through the Weave App or the email listed below for our team to fix.

Linen change service is only available in our Suites and only applies to the standard linen set we provide. It is done fortnightly on housekeeping day.

We have implemented a series of measures in accordance with guidelines issued by the HKSAR Government’s Centre for Health Protection, with the aim of minimising spread of COVID-19 spreading throughout our properties. Measures include but are not limited to:

  • All surfaces in shared spaces (including door handles, drinking fountains, laundry facilities and elevators) are disinfected every three hours.
  • Touchless hand sanitisation stations have been installed at the entrance to the elevators and in shared spaces.
  • Drains are cleaned frequently.
  • A disinfection doormat is in place at each property’s main entrance.

An inventory list includes all items in your room and their condition.
